I really love this Japanese ink drawing of a fox and two hares. I wanted to make it the banner image for the blog, but it was not quite the right fit. I stumbled upon it one day while browsing the Library of Congress Print & Photograph Collection, a great source for public domain images. The Prints & Photographs Division houses tons of Japanese woodblock prints and drawings from the 17th through 20th century. Subjects run the gamut from ordinary landscapes to even geisha life. Take a look!
